The fourth generation FABIA continues ŠKODA's extraordinary success by offering everything you need and a little more. Twenty-two years after its debut, the popular little car is more emotional and dynamic than ever. This is the first FABIA based on the MQB-A0 modular platform from the Volkswagen Group. It is the most spacious car in its segment and has further improved comfort features as well as a plethora of new safety and assistance systems. Classic brand qualities such as excellent price-performance ratio, high functionality and a host of Simply Clever features make this car the ideal entry-level model for the ŠKODA range. The FABIA sports well-balanced proportions, well-designed headlights and rear lights with the latest LED technology. Inside, the dashboard with a self-contained central display and optional digital instrument cluster draws attention. Infotainment and connectivity are state of the art. Five current generation EVO gasoline engines from the Volkswagen Group deliver power ranging from 48 kW (65 hp) to 110 kW (150 hp). State-of-the-art aerodynamics with a coefficient of drag (cd) of 0.28 and the optional 50-liter fuel tank allow a range of over 900 km in the WLTP cycle. The interior of the new ŠKODA FABIA is more spacious and comes with additional comfort features, creating a perfect balance between emotionality and ergonomics. In line with ŠKODA's current interior design concept, its look is characterized by fresh colors and the free-standing infotainment screen measuring up to 9.2 inches. Contrasting copper and gray stitching, as well as decorative elements, bring new color accents to the interior of the FABIA. New LED ambient lighting (standard in Style) allows the driver to illuminate the dashboard trim in white or red. The center console and the front door handles can also be illuminated; in addition, the ambient lighting includes LED reading lights at the front and rear. The seats, with adjustable lumbar support for the first time, feature gray fabric upholstery in the Active version and additional gray contrasting stitching in the FABIA Ambition. In the Style variant, the seat covers are two-tone in gray and black. With a wheelbase 94 mm longer than that of its predecessor, the new FABIA offers even more space for its passengers, especially at the rear. At 2,564 mm, it even exceeds the wheelbase of the first generation ŠKODA OCTAVIA launched in 1996. The new ŠKODA FABIA offers 16 storage options, with a total capacity of 108 l, including a folding center armrest. with two cup holders in the rear seats. RELEASE DATE: circa October 2021 TRUNK SPACE: The trunk - which at 330 l was already the largest in the segment - gained an additional 50 l for a volume of 380 l. Based on the MQB-A0, the new FABIA now also has many assistance systems that were previously reserved for higher-tier vehicles. In conjunction with the even stiffer body, the small car offers excellent active and passive safety.
