SUBSCRIBE to find out more! The MBUX Hyperscreen is the absolute highlight inside. This large, curved screen runs almost from the A-pillar to the A-pillar. Three screens sit under a common protective glass and visually blend into one screen. In addition to the so-called zero-layer design, the MBUX Hyperscreen offers intuitive tactile operation with haptic feedback and force feedback. Scratch resistant glass is coated for easy cleaning. With the MBUX Hyperscreen (optional), three screens blend almost perfectly into each other to create an impressive screen strip over 141 centimeters wide: conductive screen (screen diagonal: 12.3 inches), central screen (17.7 inches) and front passenger screen (12.3 inches). inches) appear as a single visual unit. The EQS is the luxurious and avant-garde top of the range Mercedes-EQ. With this brand new type of vehicle, designers also had the mission and opportunity to take a whole new approach to interior design. They made use of this freedom and, in addition to the MBUX Hyperscreen, relied on consistent scanning for many other elements. The EQS is the first Mercedes-EQ to be based on a fully electric platform. For designers, this goes hand in hand with the vision of a coherent digitalization of the interior. The optional MBUX Hyperscreen impressively implements this vision: the entire dashboard is an ultimate widescreen display. This determines the aesthetics of the entire cockpit and interior. Real glass appears to drape three-dimensionally across the width of the vehicle like a wave - a unique feature in automotive construction to this day. High-resolution displays blend seamlessly under the shared glass cover. The graphic aspect of their MBUX content is adapted to each other. The MBUX Hyperscreen is integrated into the dashboard in a minimalist way. The MBUX Hyperscreen is surrounded only by a thin silver frame, air strip and narrow leather frame, reminiscent of the lower volume body of classic instrument panels. The EQS is Mercedes-EQ's first fully electric luxury sedan. With it, Mercedes-EQ is redefining this vehicle segment. The EQS is also the first model to be based on the modular architecture for luxury and business class electric vehicles. Combining technology, design, functionality and connectivity, the EQS thrills drivers and passengers. The first models on the market will be the EQS 450+ with 245 kW (combined NEDC power consumption: 19.1-16.0 kWh / 100 km; CO2 emissions: 0 g / km) and the EQS 580 4MATIC with 385 kW (combined NEDC electricity consumption: 20.0-16.9 kWh / 100 km; CO2 emissions: 0 g / km). Consumption figures according to WLTP: EQS 450+ combined electricity consumption 20.4-15.7 kWh / 100 km, CO2 emissions 0 g / km; EQS 580 4MATIC combined power consumption 21.8-17.4 kWh / 100 km, CO2 emissions 0 g / km.
